Hello!

I first want to thank all of you who have emailed with well wishes for our 6yr old son, Nathan. He's doing fabulous - back at school and back on his normal routine. The seizures have stopped and all that's happened doesn't seem to affect him much, yesterday he was flipping through Popular Mechanics and asked if we could build a submarine for our pond.

At the end of the week, Scott and I are headed to Nashville to host Food Blog Forum with our good friends Diane and Todd of White on Rice Couple. This is my first trip to this fine city, I'm already daydreaming of all the good eats on our journey.

Okay, time to get on with this morning's chores - there are hungry hens to feed and a sprouting garden to water!
